Now I know that I know that this is not normally a place to post political comments, however what is happening now is so important that you can not ignore this or be ignorant about it.

If you are in the US then you have heard of the $700 Billion buyout that the government is pushing. All that you hear from the government is the horror stories about what will happen if this does not happen and how the entire financial system will collapse. This is a lie. While it is true that the largest banks may fall, the truth is that most people have nothing to fear from this and that this will not destroy the financial banking system. What this will do is hold those accountable and who have made millions, if not billions, of dollars off of the “Shadow Banking System”, or the banking system that was designed to make the rich more rich while preying off of the middle and lower class.

This is truly a pivotal point in this generation and our Country. Are we going to let the government bail out the rich who did nothing except hurt the 95% of Americans who are trying to skimp by? Should we just sit idle and let those who have the most to gain in this deal give those who have the most to lose this debt to pay off? I say no.

There are 2 things that we the people of the United States need to do to stop this.
1)Educate ourselves and others about this. Read up on this situation. Look at the websites from the link above. Pass this message around and tell your friends, family, and coworkers.
2)Contact your state senators and tell them to not to allow this. Here is a link to contact your Senator. http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm Have your friends family and co-workers do the same. Many people think that they will not make a difference. Think about this then. Many of these Senators are currently up for re-election. They will be interested in keeping your vote and will do what you ask of them.
